Great hometown hardware store! Lots of miscellaneous things too
The best locally owned hardware you will ever find. Find Lee Nixon and he will fix you up with whatever you need to get your job done.( just don't ask him for dance lessons)..unlike the big box retailers up the road this "family" really wants you as a life long customer and you will know that when you leave. Don't get me wrong, on Saturday's when they are busy you might have to wait your turn, but there are tons of things to look at while you wait. You should come here first, but if you don't and you can't find it, or your sick of being treated like customer #1,345,357 of the day. Save yourself some time and frustration and stop here.
Excellent customer service. Steve Slater answered the phone when I called. I own a landscape construction company in Austin, TX, and needed the concrete sphere mold set asap. Steve customized an order to fit my rushed request and we're going to stay on track with our project. Now I suppose, as a single mother of two, I'll need to get into a Strong Man Fitness Routine. Ha! Would recommend these folks and I'm happy to do have done business with a 'local' company, states away from me.
If I could give them no stars I would in a heartbeat. They are horrible landlords. My heat has went out 2 times in the last month and I have a 7 month old and 5 year old and they beat around the bush for hours before finally getting someone out. Although they know what the problem is and why it keeps turning my heat off the refuse to fix it " because that's the piece that's supposed to be on there" is what they said. So they keep ghetto rigging it to run for a little bit but now my hot water don't work it's one thing after another and I've only lived here 7 months. I do not recommend renting any of the properties they own.
I always call Mike for my locks. He is great and I never have any trouble after he is done.
