The neighborhood is much better than it used to be. I've lived there for going on 6 years. The rent is income based through HUD. Lots of kids in the area so if you are looking for a quiet area this may not be the place for you. You can hear a lot of outside noise through the windows and doors even when they are shut. The laundry facility is in my opinion poor. The machines do not wash or dry well and it's going on 2 years for one of washers to be fixed. There is approximately 54 units and only 5 working washer and 4 dryers. If you are looking at the Senior apartments - I would stay away!!!! They have bed bugs there - VERY BAD!!!
They just remodeled but most tenants are not the neighborly type.
