I spent $180 on 2 new tires for my Corolla at this shop. When I got in my car I saw that damage had been done to my steering wheel. I immediately told the manager who came out and looked at the damage before I left the parking lot. He had the man who pulled my car into the garage come out (approximately 350 lbs) to tell me that he hadn't damaged the car. The steering wheel looked like someone's zipper gouged a hole in the rubber and left zipper teeth marks about an inch and a half long. The manager pointed out that there was no rubber from the steering wheel in his employees zip-up sweatshirt... The manager gave me the garage's insurers name and number and I called to file a claim. Three days later Nationwide Insurance called to tell me that Mr. Tire had denied that they had done any damage to my car. Be careful if you shop here - they will not do the right thing! :(
More people need to know about this company. I always price shop, and for the last 5 years, I have not found anyone who can even compare to Mr. Tire. I always call him first and then give his price quote to the competetion and they always say things like. That has got to be a flawed tire or there is no way he can sell it that cheap. I have rode on the brands he sells for five years now, and am still waiting for my car to explode. Small, local business who does it right. If you want a clean show room and condesending sales staff, go to the big names. If you want a business owner who is in the back doing the work himself and shaking your hand with a little grease on it because he gives you personal attention, go to Mr. Tire. Best value 5 years running. I trust this business completely. Nick Dean
