My go to dinner spot! Always welcoming staff, great variety of food and drinks. They offer a well rounded menu selection that always is fresh and delicious.
We are from KY. visiting for the holidays. We were soooo impressed, we called to find out what the special for tonight is and because it is crab cakes and lobster bisque, we made reservations to go back tonight.
Tonight was the first time we tried Main Street Bistro. Heather did a great job of serving us and the food was very good. I had the Philly Steak and my wife had the Gyro. The hand-cut fries were so just as good, if not better, than "fair fries". We plan to go back!
Skirt steak wonton tacos we're perfect appetizer! Had the Walleye entree special and loved it. Asparagus was perfect too! Service was fast and friendly! My favorite was mushroom soup, best I have ever had. We will be regulars here!
A big hearty recommendation to all the staff and especially the chef, who I wish would move to KY. so we could eat his food regularly.
We have a group of 6 that eat out together once a month and we like to try out new (to us) places. Last night was our first time at Main Street Bistro (because of our daughter's recommendation). We had shrimp, Tornado Burger, ribs and salmon. Everyone loved their entrees. They were pretty busy and our food still arrived in a timely manner and done to perfection. Our compliments to the chef. Nice craft beer selection too.
Main Street Bistro will be entered into our regular rotation. One of a growing list of great eating establishments in downtown Lancaster.
Were there last night for the first time. Cold beer, the best food and great attentive service. The crusted grouper as the best 4 out of the six of us had. One of the folks had a great steak and the sixth of the group had what she called to die for mushroom soup and 1/2# shrimp special. We had not seen each other since last Christmas and even though we stayed 2 1/2 hours, the staff did not seem to mind, which was nice.
